TogetHER Event 2024

TogetHER is Legacy Place’s philanthropic initiative for female empowerment and equality. Industry leaders and change makers will be coming together at the event to honor the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women across the globe.

With support from NBC Boston, we invite you to join us for a night of conversation and inspiration on Thursday, March 7, 6pm-8:30pm as we celebrate International Women’s Day with women who are changing the game and fighting for a brighter future for females.

Mix + Mingle | Sips + Nibbles: 6:00pm-7:30pm  

• Mix + Mingle as you experience interactive tabling and displays from some of your favorite Legacy Place Businesses.

  • SalonCapri will be offering complimentary hair touch-ups
  • Bluemercury will be offering complimentary makeup-up touch-ups
  • Permanent bracelets from SPARK by Simone
• Sip on a signature cocktail (or mocktail) or enjoy your favorite drink at The Studio cash bar. All guests will receive one drink ticket upon check-in.
• Snack on passed apps, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits and more as you mingle.
• Our DJ will be playing your favorite hits from female artists.

Panel Discussion:  7:30pm – 8:30pm 

• Following an eclectic and energetic cocktail and networking session, attendees will experience a lively and empowering panel discussion amongst a diverse group of women and some of the most inspiring industry leaders from the Boston area
• The panel will be moderated by NBC10 Boston’s Hannah Donnelly, and panelists will respond to questions that prompt how we can embrace equity, eliminate stereotypes and work toward equality in our industries and communities
• Panelists: Taniya Nayak (Host & Interior Design Expert on HGTV, ABC and Food Network and owner of Taniya Nyak Design Inc), Kristina Tsipouras (Entrepreneur, Founder of Boston Business Women and Founder Moroccan Magic Organic Lip Balms), Nia Grace (President and CEO, Bar and Kitchen Hospitality, Inc. and Founder of Grace by Nia®), Natanja Craig Oquendo (Executive Director of Boston Women’s Fund).

Tickets 

• Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will go to Boston Women’s Fund, the first women’s foundation in Massachusetts, was founded in 1984 by a group of progressive women who sought to support persistently-excluded women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals in achieving racial, economic, social, and gender justice. BWF uplifts, advocates for, and invests in women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals who are leading grassroots organizations and systems change. Together they strive toward racial, economic, social, and gender justice.
