Legacy Lessons | Mother’s Day Beginner Calligraphy at West Elm

Learn a new DIY trick or discover a hidden talent at our weekly workshops. The setting is laidback and social, but the skills you’ll take home are the real deal.

Join Sip & Script at West Elm for a Mother’s Day Themed intro to calligraphy on Wednesday, May 8th from 6:30-8PM. Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll receive an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor and more!

Class includes one hour of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. You will also create personalized cards for Mother’s Day at the end of class. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!
